Dance Drama

Dance Drama

Dance drama rocks we dance to cool music and have lots great fun sometimes we dance in front of the whole school it can be scary sometimes but it ROCKS!!!!!! Mrs Fallowfield says some of the dances are about levels and dynamics. We also work in pairs and mirror our partners. The dances can be about anything but one of the dances is about relationships and working together, that's my favourite.

In dance drama we learn cool dances to cool songs its great fun you should join too. Mrs Fallowfield teaches us you have to be in year 3, 4, 5 or 6. It absolutely positively ROCKS and that's true. We work in pairs and groups so grab your friends and lets dance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recorders

Recorder Club

Recorder club is on a Tuesday after school. Mrs Klinger is a very good teacher. We have nearly finished the entire book in recorder class. I really like playing my recorder and, we have learnt the notes b, a, g, e, and d on this instrument and are looking forward to learn some more.

By Shannon

At recorders you learn how to play the recorders. First you start with warm-ups, and then you get to play concerts in the hall. After that you get to learn proper songs on the recorder.

Rugby

Rugby Practice

Here in Bowmandale we play many different sports such as Tag Rugby. Tag Rugby is a fun game to play. It involves a rugby ball, cone and players up to 7, 8 or 11. The aim of the game is to run with the rugby ball and try and get past your opponents, when you get your opponents you run to the end of the cones and then place the ball down at the end of the cones. You can place the ball anywhere you want as long as it is past the cones, then you have scored a goal, this is called a try. Mr Bradley played every Thursday dinnertime after we had our dinner.

Cricket

The Girls Cricket Team

On Tuesday 16th June 2009 the girls' cricket team went to Scunthorpe to play a cricket tournament against 3 other teams. As we won all our games we got into the final against Keadby and Althorpe. We won that game and are now going to Lincoln on 1st July 2009.
