• Ball Throwing Final

  It was our annual ball throwing final this afternoon.  All of the children in KS2 participated in the rounds, with the winners in each year group participating in the final today.  The level of sportsmanship shown throughout was wonderful.

• Baysgarth Park

  A small group of children were delighted to be invited to the official re-opening of Baysgarth Park this morning.  They had a wonderful time playing on all the new equipment and really enjoyed the special tasty treats.

  

• Speech & Drama Festival 2026

  Over the last few days, children from EYFS to Y6 have represented the school in the annual Scunthorpe Speech & Drama festival.  They all performed their poems with confidence and should feel extremely proud of themselves.  Some of the children were also awarded trophies due to winning classes.

  

• Conker Final 2025

  We had our conker final in school this afternoon.  It is part of our annual traditions in school and it was a wonderful event for the whole school to watch.

  

• Harvest Collection

  Thank you to all of the families that kindly donated items for our Harvest collection.  We had our Harvest Service in school this afternoon and the food has now been collected by the local food bank.

  The School Council held our annual Macmillan Cake Sale today in school.  Thank you so much to all of the families that donated all of the delicious cakes.  We raised £612.73 for this wonderful charity.

  

• Y6 Residential

  The Year 6 children have all had a truly wonderful time at High Adventure.  We are incredibly proud of their positive mindset when facing new challenges.
