  Our Bowmandale KS2 Choir had a wonderful day performing at Young Voices 2022 at Utilita Arena Sheffield.  They all sang beautifully and we are incredibly proud of them all.

  

• World Book Day 2022

  We all had a wonderful day in school today celebrating World Book Day.  We were allowed to come to school dressed as a book character or in our PJs/ Onesie and we all brought in our favourite book from home.  Each class even had a gift when they arrived in the morning which was a new book for the classroom.

  In recognition of Children's Mental Health Week, Year 6 have been exploring more about the theme this year 'growing together'.

• Sheffield Institute of Sport

  We are delighted that 8 of our Y6 children have been able to visit the Sheffield Institute of Sport today.  They have participated in a range of activities but they have also been lucky enough to meet Galal Yafai MBE.  Galal Yafai is the British amateur boxer who won gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

  The whole school have had a wonderful morning at the pantomime at the Baths Hall in Scunthorpe.
