  All of the children were invited to come to school today wearing odd socks in support of the Odd Sock initiative that links to our work in school for anti-bullying week.

  

• Supporting the Poppy Appeal

• Halloween Disco

  Children across the school had a wonderful time at the Halloween Disco.  All of the costumes were fantastic!

  

• Harvest Celebration

  On 10 October, we were delighted to welcome Kate Marr from the Methodist Church into school to be part of our Harvest celebrations.  The food that was kindly donated by the children for the Harvest Table has now been given to the local food bank to help those in need.

  

• Colour Run

  On Friday 23 September, the children, the staff and many families all had an exciting afternoon enjoying the colour run.  

  

• Green Gym in Baysgarth Park

  On Friday 22nd April, a small group of KS2 children were delighted to be asked to attend the official opening of the green gym in Baysgarth Park.  They all loved being able to try out the new equipment.

  

• Young Voices 2022

  Our Bowmandale KS2 Choir had a wonderful day performing at Young Voices 2022 at Utilita Arena Sheffield.  They all sang beautifully and we are incredibly proud of them all.

  

• World Book Day 2022

  We all had a wonderful day in school today celebrating World Book Day.  We were allowed to come to school dressed as a book character or in our PJs/ Onesie and we all brought in our favourite book from home.  Each class even had a gift when they arrived in the morning which was a new book for the classroom.
