Young Voices 2024
Fri 09 Feb 2024Our Young Voices choir of 55 KS2 children had an amazing day performing at Sheffield arena on Thursday 8th February.

EIS Visit
Fri 02 Feb 2024Some of our Y6 children had the opportunity to visit the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield today. They had a tour of the venue and were able to take part in some of the activities.

Year 4 Robinwood
Fri 26 Jan 2024In January, Year 4 spent 3 days at Robinwood activity centre in Todmorden where they experienced a wide range of challenging adventure activities such as canoeing, rock climbing, caving, trapeze, zip wire and not forgetting the most nerve-tingling activity of all - the piranha pool!

Panto Time
Tue 19 Dec 2023Last Friday, the whole school went to the Baths Hall in Scunthorpe on our annual panto outing to see 'Beauty and the Beast' starring, as always, everyone's favourite, Annie Fannie! All the children had lots of fun and two of the Year 6 were even chosen to go up on stage. We all hope we can go again next year.

Festive Fun Run
Fri 08 Dec 2023Today, we held our annual festive fun run. Each class took a turn to go out onto the playground and run laps dressed in their festive clothes just for fun!

Author Visit
Wed 29 Nov 2023On Monday 27th November, the children's author L. D. Lapinski came to talk to Key Stage 2 about her books. She read a section from her new book 'Step Father Christmas' and did some fun games. Families that wanted to could pre-order signed copies of her books. Hopefully L. D. Lapinski will have inspired children to read some of her books or even write some of their own!
