  Our EYFS Graduation ceremony was held this morning.  We are so proud of how much the children have achieved in their first year at school.

  

• I'm An 11 Year Old Get Me Out Of Here

  The year 5s and 6s impressed an audience of parents at two performances today with their end of year production: 'I'm An 11 Year Old Get Me Out Of Here!'. The children have been working hard for weeks to bring this production to life with both their acting and singing and we all need to say a huge 'well done' to everyone involved.

  

• Prize Giving 2023

  On Friday afternoon we welcomed the whole school to our annual prize giving assembly where pupils were awarded for outstanding achievements throughout the year. Awards were given for academic subjects as well as areas such as leadership and growth mindset. Parents of winning children were also invited to attend. Well done to all of the children for their hard work this year.

  

• Bowmandale's Got Talent

  The winners of this year's Bowmandale's Got Talent were announced at the prize giving assembly this afternoon. Well done to everyone who took part, the finalists and the winners who were:

  1st Place - Thia-Rose

  2nd Place - Natalia

  3rd Place - Elina

  The finalists' entries can still be viewed on the Bowmandale Website but voting has now closed.

  

• Year 4 UNdiscovered performance

  The children in Year 4 have been involved in an Arts programme organised by the LA this term.  They have been composing their own music and lyrics in collaboration with other North Lincolnshire schools.  Today was performance day at Normanby Hall and the children were all amazing.

  

• Winterton Float Parade

  The creative council had an amazing time on the school float at the Winterton Show.  A huge thank you to Miss Dunkerley for all her efforts with preparing the float.

• Family Stay & Read

  We were delighted that so many families were able to join us for our Stay & Read session.

  

• Stay and Play

  This morning we had a stay and play session for younger children. We had babies up to pre-schoolers join us. The session was lovely and we can't wait to host another after the summer break. We plan to have a stay and play each half term. Thank you to all the families who joined us today! 

  

• The Deep

  Today, Year 1 children went on a trip to The Deep. The children had so much fun and behaved wonderfully.
