• Stay and Play

  This morning we had a stay and play session for younger children. We had babies up to pre-schoolers join us. The session was lovely and we can't wait to host another after the summer break. We plan to have a stay and play each half term. Thank you to all the families who joined us today! 

  

• The Deep

  Today, Year 1 children went on a trip to The Deep. The children had so much fun and behaved wonderfully.

  

• Robinwood

  Last week, Year 6 went on their two-night residential to Robinwood Adventure Centre in Todmorden where they experienced a packed schedule of adventure activities including the zip line, giant swing, trapeze, rock climbing, archery and more. Everyone was encouraged to develop their teamwork skills of communication, listening and co-operation whilst also challenging themselves to achieve their personal goals.

  

• Penny Farthing Experience

  As part of their project on transport the EYFS children enjoyed a visit from Mr Faulkner and his Penny Farthing.  They were amazed that the bicycle was over 100 years old. 

  

• Annual ball throwing competition

• Coronation Celebrations

• We achieved Gold!

  We are delighted to share that we were informed yesterday that we have been awarded the Artsmark Gold Award.  A special thank you to Mrs Simpson for all her work as Art leader.

  

• EYFS Playhouse

  It has been a very exciting week in EYFS.  A local business, Timber Bespoke, held a competition to win a beautiful playhouse and Miss Wilkinson was the winner!  Dane, from Timber Bespoke, brought our prize on Thursday.  The children were all incredibly excited!
